Launch preparation

Programs to install

Before starting, please install the .NET Framework 4.8, if you do not have it installed, it is necessary for the software to work.

If you do not know whether you have it installed or not, then install it here:
https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet-framework/thank-you/net48-web-installer

You also need to download AFX from your profile.

Virtual machines

We will use Hyper-V for virtual machines. You need to download these files to install and configure Virtual machine.

In addition, later in this tutorial, you will learn how to connect virtual machines to the software and how to manage them.

Configuring software

Welcome

After you downloaded the software there will be an archive with these files:

Open AutoFarmX and sign in to your account:

Virtual Machine requirements

For 1 virtual machine:

1. 3 cores of CPU

2. 5 GB of RAM

3. 2 GB of VRAM

4. 100 GB of SSD

With these numbers, you can calculate how many virtual machines you can run on your computer.

We got these numbers by testing on a such PC: Intel xeon e5 2697v4, 64 GB RAM and rx 580.

Installing and configuring Hyper-V

Hyper-V installation

First of all, you need to turn on HyperV option on your PC, here is how to do it:

1. Press Win + R, type "optionalfeatures" and click "OK":

3. You can name it as you want, then we should choose a parameter "Realtek..." and tick the option in the checkbox. Click "Apply" and then "OK".

You have successfully configured it.

Creating Virtual Machine

Instruction:

1. Click "New" and then "Virtual machine":

2. In opened window click "Next":

3. On the next page put any name you wish and click "Next":

4. Then click "Generation 2" and "Next":

5. Now you need to allocate memory for virtual machine, type "5120", untick parameter, which is bellow the "Startup memory" and click "Next":

6. Click on the "Connection", choose your network and click "Next":

7. You need to connect a virtual hard disk, type 100 into "Size" and then click "Next":

8. Now click "Install operating system from a bootable image file" and click "Browse...", choose .iso file (this file is located in "Windows image" folder, which you have downloaded before) and then click "Next":

9. Click "Finish" and wait until the virtual machine will be created:

10. After that you need to open "Settings", go to "Security" and turn on "Enable Trusted Platform Module" and click "Apply":

11. In the processor section put amount of CPU cores, put at least 6 and click "Apply":

12. Go to "Checkpoints", untick the option, click "Apply" and "OK":

You have successfully created Virtual Machine.

Connecting to Virtual Machine

Instruction:

After creating a virtual machine you should click on your virtual machine, then "Connect" and "Start":

If you have done everything correctly, then after clicking "Start" will be opened a window. Click on a random key on your keyboard to start installing Windows. Then there will be shown "Hyper-V" and then "Ghostspectre".

Installing Windows on Virtual Machine

Instruction:

Now do the same as it shown in the next pictures:

Configuring Windows

Instruction

1. Install the video card driver 546.33 on your main pc if you have Nvidia GPU

2. Start your Virtual Machine

3. Open "1 - CopyDriverFiles.ps1" file, which is in "Scripts" folder and write your virtual machine name on the first line:

4. Run as administrator PowerShell on main pc.

5. Press "Ctrl + C" to copy text from this file and press "Shift + Insert" into PowerShell. When it finishes there should be written "Success":

6. Now open this path "C:\Temp\System32" on virtual machine, then copy all files to this path "C:\Windows\System32" also on your virtual machine. After that open parameters, then click "Integration Services" and turn off "Guest services" and click "OK":

7. Open "2 - GPU_Partition.ps1" file on your main PC and type the name of your virtual machine:
